It all started with a text from my friend who brings light to every situation. The most basic text that started a whirl of uplift, “What are you girlies grateful for today?”
In the current state of our world with COVID-19, there is a lot of worry and uncertainty. I believe it is crucial to think about others in this time and have a realistic understanding of what is happening, however, for our mental health, let’s take a minute to think about what we are thankful for.
Today I went for a walk and I realized that today I am thankful for the sunshine and spring nearing. Along my walk I saw trees beginning to bloom. I felt the sunshine on my face and felt a cool breeze. The sky was incredibly blue and I relished in the moment of taking a break from this quarantine while cherishing the spring that is headed our way.
Leave a comment of what you are grateful for today below. It can be as small as waking up this morning or enjoying a cup of coffee. A coworker shared that near his work station yesterday he was able to see his daughters dressed as super heroes with capes chasing each other in the backyard. I’d love to hear yours.
